Hammock Haven is tuned to Nature’s soundtrack — loons calling at dusk, water lapping beneath the dock, wind moving through the trees, and the occasional splash from someone giving in to the lake. From your island dome, you’ll fall asleep to these rhythms and wake as light skims across Annabessacook Lake. Days unfold to a steady beat: cooking simple meals, drifting in hammocks just above the water, paddling the shoreline, and wandering the wooded trails of our 14-acre island. No headphones required.

Joanne and Kent were great hosts and very accommodating. The camp sight had everything we needed. The island is incredibly beautiful and peaceful.
Was a great chance to get away, turn off technology, and relax on the beautiful island. We had an awesome time and wish we could've stayed longer.
Jo and Kent's island is stunningly beautiful, quiet, and so well set up - they've thought of everything! We made a fire, relaxed in the hammock, went swimming in the lake, and enjoyed a spectacular meteor shower in the dark sky. The tent is so clean and comfortable. Hope to be back soon!
Joanne and Kent made our stay perfect. They provided everything we needed to have an amazing stay, while giving us the space to really kick back and enjoy ourselves. We swam, paddled & enjoyed the loons and Bald Eagles. Can't wait to come back:)
If you like camping but want to step it up a notch this is your place! We absolutely love, love, loved this amazing little island!! We originally booked only one night and decided to stay two.. But in the end I could have stayed a week! Joanne and Kent were such wonderful hosts.. From greeting us, to helping bring all of our gear to the camp site, to attending to anything we needed... The location was stunning, sunset to sundown. We loved the fun little places to swim, the cute benches and hammocks set up in different locations for perfect sunset views, and canoeing out across the lake- it was so peaceful!! Our dog had the time of his life and we can say this is really where he realized his love for swimming! I'm already dreaming of my next visit! Highly recommend!
This place is amazing, Wishing we had more time to spend but will be back. It was easy camping in a beautiful location. Perfect for what we wanted- a quick get away.
