From your island dome, you’ll fall asleep to these rhythms and wake as light skims across Annabessacook Lake. Days unfold to a steady beat: cooking simple meals, drifting in hammocks just above the water, paddling the shoreline, and wandering the wooded trails of our 14-acre island. No headphones required.

One Big Sustainable Island is super lovely and relaxing. Hiking trails, swimming spots, canoes to roam around with. The only downside for us was that the shores of the lake have a great many houses on them and we were looking for a bit more solitude. Still, quite a memorable trip...
We had a great stay! The island is beautiful and jo and Kent were very hospitable and courteous; they went above and beyond. Kent even helped us start a fire! The tent was perfect and we’ll be back again soon!

The tent is accurately described and pictured and Jo and Kent were delightful hosts. We used their canoe and kayaks, swam in the lake, explored the island, and relaxed by the fire. Definitely a welcome retreat and one we hope to return to soon!
