This place is very beautiful and the hospitality is great.
Magic is a place on earth, and it’s this gem. The whole island is a treasure. We can not wait to return with friends and family (and more dogs). Thank you guys for such a beautiful, thought out experience.
Jo & Kent were awesome hosts and checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Kent was very welcoming down at the dock with Shadow and Sky when we arrived. He informed us of all the things 1BSI has to offer from fishing to the trails and the little spots along them. The A-frame was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway for two. Think of it as camping without all the work! We can't wait to go back!

We loved the magic of the island and couldn’t have been happier with the A-frame. Joanne and Kent are so helpful and have thought of everything you might need. Be sure to try out the rope swing and watch the sunset from the bench on the rock. A perfect place to find your happy!

This is a wonderful little place if your looking to get back to nature and looking for some peace & quiet! The A-frame is beautiful and the craftsmanship is amazing! The bed was super cozy and you had a large covered outdoor eating area with a grill, so even if it rains your gear is covered. We brought our dogs and they had a blast running around the island and swimming while we were fishing. Kent was so nice to us and the dogs! The fishing was great! Caught 10 or 11 fish in all. Had some pike and bass on the line over a foot long or more! You can go out on their nice boats or use the docks. Water is so clean and clear you can see the fish. Love this place, can’t wait to visit again!
Jo and Kent were so wonderful and knowledgeable! Spending time at the A-Frame was a much much needed break from our regular lives. We definitely recommend the place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!
